HISPARROZ is the first producer of rice seeds in Spain, developing its cultivation on its own farms and carrying out intense research activity into new varieties of rice.
The seed varieties developed by HISPARROZ are marketed both in Spain and in other countries, where there is a growing demand.
We are pioneers
HISPARROZ was a pioneer in the introduction of the cultivation of Indica-type rice varieties in Europe.
In 1988, after a long research process, HISPARROZ registered the first Indica type rice variety grown in Spain: Thaibonnet.
In continuous innovation
Over the course of 37 years, HISPARROZ continues to develop and register new rice varieties better adapted to cultivation in different regions, with the aim of obtaining very productive seeds that are tolerant to diseases and highly valued by the rice industry.
